Manages a service territory and conducts multi-line risk evaluations during prospective and existing policyholder visits. Identifies and evaluates exposures and hazard controls, analyzes loss experience and provides solutions and resources to manage risk using a consultative and collaborative approach. This involves partnering with the account underwriters, marketing representatives and agency partners. Loss control associates evaluate policyholder business operations, physical premises, equipment, materials, work practices, and safety programs and procedures. Develops loss control correspondence including underwriting survey reports to communicate recommendations and a strategy to reduce loss exposure.
