If you’re involved in a car accident, our main goal is to get you back on the road as soon as possible.
Call emergency services immediately if the automobile accident is serious. If no emergency is present, follow the steps below to help us ensure your claim is handled quickly and efficiently.
Obtain the name, address, insurance information and license plate number of other driver(s) involved in the accident.
Also, get the names and addresses of any witnesses of the accident.
Call the police. Do not discuss the details of the accident with anyone, except the investigating officer. Do not make any admissions or offer any payments.
Take photos (or videos) of all vehicles involved.
Contact your agent as soon as possible to report the accident.
If you’re unable to reach your agent after normal business hours, we provide an after-hours claim reporting phone service for claim emergencies.
The service is available on weekdays from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. and 24 hours a day on weekends and holidays.
