TN Storms
In response to recent tornadoes and severe weather in Tennessee, we are placing a moratorium on the cancellation of policies for nonpayment of premium in Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Gibson, Montgomery, Robertson, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Weakley, and Wilson counties.
The moratorium will apply to policyholders directly affected by the tornadoes and severe weather. It will apply retroactively to December 9, 2023 and remain in effect through February 7, 2024, unless extended in whole or in part. The moratorium applies to Property/Casualty, Life, Disability Income and Long Term Care policies. It does not apply to Flood policies.
The moratorium is not a waiver; it is only an extension of the grace period in which to pay the premium.
